We believe that happy boys learn best. Consequently, we strive to create a community where boys, parents and teachers feel safe, valued, connected and have a strong sense of belonging. Pastoral care at our school is seen as a partnership between students, parents and staff. It provides an essential platform for the individual care of each student. Our teachers therefore seek to know the students in their care - their strengths, their weaknesses and their needs.
Pastoral care is provided by classroom teachers, Homeroom teachers, Form room teachers, tutors, Heads of House, Chaplains and counsellors. We seek to provide resources for students and families to help them to deal with issues or problems which may arise in their lives.
We actively discourage bullying in any form. We ask all students to treat each other at all times with courtesy and respect. Our policy on bullying behaviour is freely available from the school.
