Child Safety

Camberwell Grammar School is committed to Child Safety.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children and where appropriate be able to demonstrate experience working with children.  Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate their understanding of, or any experience they have in working with children with diverse needs and/or backgrounds.

Mandatory Checks

Police Checks: All successful candidates are required to undertake criminal records checks.  The criminal records checks cover all countries of citizenship and for each country in which the individual has lived for 12 months or longer over the past five years (or more).  

Working With Children Checks: All successful candidates must obtain and provide a valid Working with Children Check.

The provision of these documents is at the candidates own expense.  The requirement for criminal records checks allows people to self-select out of the process if they wish to do so.

We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Property Services (permanent, full time role).  The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, property/facilities management or architecture and have a technical and engineering-type mind.
