Lifeguards supervise the CGS Aquatic environment, taking responsibility for the safety and experience of all CGS Aquatic patrons and staff.

The Learn to Swim Instructor is responsible for delivering high quality learn to swim lessons within the Aquatics Program, and/or the Camberwell PE curriculum, and/or Junior School swimming lessons. The Learn to Swim Instructor will work as part of the Learn to swim team within the Aquatic Programs at Camberwell Grammar.

Child Safety

Mandatory Checks

Police Checks: All successful candidates are required to undertake criminal records checks.  The criminal records checks cover all countries of citizenship and for each country in which the individual has lived for 12 months or longer over the past five years (or more).  

Working With Children Checks: All successful candidates must obtain and provide a valid Working with Children Check.

The provision of these documents is at the candidates own expense.  The requirement for criminal records checks allows people to self-select out of the process if they wish to do so.
