If your son enjoys performing or participating in stage productions, our thriving Drama program includes full-scale school productions and musicals. Students can be involved as actors, dancers, or with lighting, sound, set design and construction, and stage management. Our productions are often performed in conjunction with local girls’ schools, and our boys also participate in their productions.
Drama is offered as an elective subject from Year 7 to Year 10 with an intensive program that includes workshop productions of Shakespeare and devising theatre. Theatre Studies is offered at the VCE level for Senior School students in Year 11 and 12.
Recent Middle School productions have included Haroun and the Sea of Stories, The Tempest and The Life and Times of Timothy Simon, while the Senior School drama productions have included City of Angels, Mnemonic and Jesus Christ Superstar.
