VCE Season of Excellence: Students Shine in Visual & Performing Arts

The VCE Season of Excellence includes concerts (Top Class and Top Acts), exhibitions (Top Designs and Top Arts), and presentations (Top Talks and Top Screen).

The annual Season aims to showcase outstanding student work for the benefit of current teachers and students. All participants are subject to a rigorous selection process. This year, we celebrate three talented students who were selected or shortlisted for the Season.

Timothy Yap (2023) has been selected for Top Arts 2024. This much-loved annual exhibition at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia showcases exceptional student artwork. Timothy's stunning ceramic vases will be displayed from March 14. These were created during his study of Art Creative Practice and Making and Exhibiting.

Kunjie Wu (2023) was shortlisted for the Top Arts exhibition. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of art making, as hundreds of applications are received each year.

Lachlan (Year 12) has been invited to perform at this year’s Top Class Music concert. Our Captain of Music will take the stage at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Wednesday 20 March, performing Eugene Bozza's Fantaisie Pastorale. He will be accompanied by Camberwell Grammar School’s Ms Jennifer Yu.

Each of these achievements is a testament to the thriving creative arts departments here at Camberwell Grammar School.
