To commemorate the magazine’s return The Realms 2020 Revival Writing Competition was launched, accepting short stories, poems and essays from students across Middle and Senior School.
With dozens of high-quality entries, the panel of judges, which included staff members and students alike, found it incredibly difficult to determine a setlist of winners - nevertheless, they arrived at a consensus, and the works they selected to mark the upper echelons of our school’s best and brightest.
It is these works which appear in The Realms magazine, which seeks to celebrate the power of the word and the proficiency in the arts on display at Camberwell Grammar School. We’re immensely proud of the quality displayed by all who contributed and entered and are very grateful to have been given the chance to help with this fantastic initiative.
